I just reviewed our list of signees/transfers.....because I didn't remember Sibley being a signee. But he was....and you read his bio....very impressive.

Also impressive....is how many true freshman were early enrollees and were here for spring ball. Tyler Mercer and Sibley....and 5 or so others.

Sorry to keep beating a dead horse, but are the two Texas transfers still on the team?

They still show on the roster on the UNT website so I'd imagine they are.

Very impressive. I think you can generally plug in a freshman RB and hand it to him for yards. The rub is when you want them to pick up the blitz or run routes, which we do want them to do. Does that sound right, coaches/experts?

Is Porter injured?  Seemed he had a strong fall camp but has gone silent.

Think I saw him on special teams Saturday.

He was and this may turn into a case of coaches wanting to keep him fresh for special teams. It looked like he was making calls on punt return and kickoff return. After the spring and fall camp I would guess he would rather get some reps at RB. He was a special teams guy at Kansas State and probably transferred down for potentially more reps at his position.
