What is your preference?  Looks like Florida State folks aren't happy.

Traditionally, the Marching Chiefs have played The War Chant during defensive third downs. However, the Marching Chiefs have been told not to play. Now, DJ music pipes in throughout the stadium during a defensive third down and in-game advertisements are called over the PA system instead of the band's fight songs.

I see your problem right there, Normie.  You only have one chief.  One police chief.  One fire chief.  One, ya see, commander-in-chief.  The use of Marching Chiefs, well, there’s only one chief.  That’s like the Dancin’ Popes, or the Skatin’ 5 star generals.  There’s only one chief.  You’re flirtin’ with trouble here.  Yes sir. I'd feel sorry for them but since FSU is part of the group of P4 universities that has destroyed collegiate athletics,
I hope the music is loud and constant, playing such great songs as: The Macarena and MmmmBop, intermixed with ads for Oh,oh,oh,Ozempic and Call J G Wentworth (you already know the number!)

My wife and I attended the game and I now would prefer a Traditional Marching Band. That piped in music was too loud and drowned out any other sounds of the game.

I don’t mind either. But last night there were several instances where the band and the PA were playing at the same time and that needs to stop. One, or the other at a time. Never both. Period.
