  • Drew Allar, Penn State (11-of-17, 260 total yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 98.3)
  • Chandler Morris, North Texas (32-of-41, 432 total yards, 5 TDs, 0 INT, QBR: 90.3)

I guess I don't understand QBR.  Morris has better completion %, even with astronomically more volume.  More TDs and zero INTs.  So how does Allar have a better QBR?

On ESPN website:

"QBR:Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating, which values the quarterback on all play types on a 0-100 scale adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses faced."

Who do you think ESPN views as having the better defense: West Virginia or South Alabama?

Yards per attempt also plays a significant role in QBR.

As of right now, the UTSA guy is winning this pretty handily.

Doesn’t nutsaks Frank Harris have a few more years of eligibility? Should be a 6th year senior.
