So SFA goes up by 70 at halftime.  Are they that good or the other team that bad?  Our dbs better be ready I saw a lot of long passes on the scoring drives summaries.

I think the other team was that bad.  SFA may be a decent team, but I wouldn’t base it off their game with NAU.  

The second half consisted of two 5 minute running quarters.  I didn’t know that was a thing in college football.

This would be like if we played Southern New Hampshire University or University of Phoenix online. It was an NAIA school that will probably have a documentary about it in a few years for being a diploma mill.

I looked for a betting line (for amusement only) on the North Texas-SFA game and couldn’t find one.  Is it too early (m) or is there no line ?

SFA is an FCS school.  Many sites don't publish betting lines between FBS and FCS programs, different levels of the sport....another reason not to schedule them.

My sister went to SFA.  She was one of the first 2 women to graduate from there in the school of forestry.  I’ve been there once to move her in.  She took a photo while she was on the campus newspaper staff covering the flood of their then brand new basketball arena.  The water was about 1 foot below the rim.  Picture got picked up by the AP and went nation wide.  Would have been about 1974 or so.

My parents didn't want me to go to SFA (not that I entertained the idea) because a lot of people from my hometown went there and never finished school. We also called those people hometown heros lol. People often referred to SFA in East Texas as Sex, Fun, and Alcohol.

It’s a joke SFA scheduled them. That school couldn’t beat a lot of DFW high schools. 
We’re gonna roll to an easy win on Saturday.

Not gonna lie. If we only score 35 pts in this game after what we saw last weekend out of Morris and crew - I’m going to be very disappointed.

They all (all 3) believe that errors by USA cost them the game. They seem to believe they match up well against us.

I expect it to be a high scoring game but one that we should put away in the second half. Unfortunately our defense is not solid enough to make this the blowout it should be.

No, I was referring to not playing them (SFA) because of their level (FCS).  Not to demean them (yes I do) but we should only play FBS teams; same in basketball with DI teams only! 

Did SFA really gain anything meaningful from beating an NAIA team 77-0 in a limited game because it was so lopsided? No

Giving up 30 to them would be an absolute train wreck.
