South Alabama was part of the original SUN Belt, as non-football until they started football, so announcers are correct. USA has always been Sun Belt for sports

Last year we were very good on Offense and Special Teams, and that could not offset the crap on the defensive side. If we have poor ST play, we might need to worry.

I hope I’m not experiencing my recent annual history of 13 minutes of Mean Green optimism. It’s been pretty consistent the past few years. Although I think it was 8 mi ites a couple of years ago so maybe that’s a plus.
