IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys running back Julius Jones had to wait a week longer than he expected to get to his first game.

Now, it appears he'll have to wait at least eight more weeks to get to his second.

Jones will miss at least two months with a fractured left scapula (shoulder blade), Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells announced Monday. Parcells said Jones suffered the injury during a collision with current Browns and former Cowboys defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban in Sunday's 19-12 victory over Cleveland.

Jones had five carries for 16 yards and fumbled once in his first NFL game Sunday. His absence likely means more carries for both Eddie George and ReShard Lee.

More details to come.

He played with a broken shoulder?? That dude is tough, gotta hand it to him. He showed some burst and speed yesterday, it's too bad.

I think Lee should get more carries than George. It's fine to let George start and get some carries, but Lee has shown some ability the last couple of years and with an extended chance, he may produce.
