The soccer ladies get back to .500 after defeating Prairie View A&M 9-0. Rachel Roebuck becomes the 9th player in program history to score four goals in a game.

Not sure how this is a D-I goaltender.

Unfortunately their starting GK collided with Roebuck before the first half and never returned, hopes she’s ok. This is their backup.

Neither were very good.

so continues Women's Soccer beating the average to below average teams, but no P4/5 wins. Pad those numbers. Wake up fans when Hedlund beats a P5 team or his team scores a goal in the NCAA tournament

I guess coach was trying to use this as a make us feel good about ourselves game. Not understanding why he left the starters in as long as he did. I guess with all the complaints about scoring he wanted to run up the score to make the stats look good at least (sort of like when Seth would leave in Aune to pile on stats). This would have been a great opportunity to get a lot of the backups playing time in the event they need to play later on.

He started 7 underclassmen, five freshman if you read the game report. Reading the box score he played the entire roster with pretty much everyone getting in a half a game. Also if you look at scores around the region PVAM lost to a pretty good incarnate word team 3-0 who tied our rival UTSA last week.

This team plays very different from his teams in the past.  The young talent is excellent and I am looking forward to seeing how this team performs.  They should have beat TX Southern by about the same score, and missed a couple more chances against PVAMU.
