It's going to be very hard at this point. They're still 2 games behind, even after yesterday's ridiculous 9-0 loss to Seattle of all teams. The number of opportunities to climb past both the A's and the Angels are getting fewer and fewer. Still one hell of a season, tho.

Four game series with the Angels at home starting today. Every game is big.

Jose Guillen is suspended for the rest of the season by the Angels. That will hurt both their offense and defense, but it may improve their chemistry and focus. The Angels will also be going to a four man rotation the rest of the season.

We all need to be huge Mariner fans (as tough as it may be) because they are playing the A's this week.

They were pretty much elminated tonight. Vlad Guerrero had 2 homers for the Angels. He should probably be the MVP but it will go to a Red Sox or Yankee since that's who the media is enamored with.

It was an amazing season. The most memorable teams are those that exceed expectations, and this team certainly did that. They were predicted to be last place by far, maybe the worst in the league and to lose 100 games. Hopefully over the winter they wil make the right moves to take the next step next season.
