You seriously can't be happy with that game, right? You were favored by 30. 

"Oh, but Nevada will be a good team", "We were having an off night", "it was too cold".... etc, etc.

Even if Nevada is a good team, they shouldn't be hanging with an "ACC" team.

If there was a college football drinking game on when announcers say the words "big play by the transfer from," we'd all die of liver failure.

I heard that more during FSU/Georgia Tech than mentions of Guinness and the Irish countryside.

Nevada is not good.  That said, anything can happen but they are still 2 years away from being competitive.  They will finish in the bottom 2-3 in the MWC.

      Morris needs to own the Caponi hire

      No expert, but a well-coached team has the player in a position to make the plays, and then it becomes the responsibility of the players to make the plays. These players are not even close to being in the proper position to try and make the stops time after time. Games against Memphis, Tulane, and Army really worry me, and I really doubt they will call off the horses as Tech did if they are in that position.

      Not to dampen the enthusiasm, but if it's possible, this team (Wyoming) is probably worse on offense than we are on defense. Through 3 games Points per game - 11.3 Passing yards per game - 115 Rushing yards per game - 87 So please, if we do not hold them to less than 225 yards and 14 points, don't start with the "oh, the defense is stepping up" or "wow, Morris and Caponi might be turning it around".

      Players are caught out of position. This defense is built on player-reaction to what they see develop in each play. The obvious solution to an offense against it is to fake and fake and fake again as Tech did all game. Our secondary was caught flat-footed not knowing if the play was an actual run or a fake = burned.

      It has the feeling of a bowl game. Like that feeling of can Littrell get us over the hump this time? It’s not as Wyoming is struggling but man do we need to be nervous and energetic. I hope to see fire level intensity on that sideline: SF 49’s style, SMU style, UTSA style. Optics and mission planning and energy visible throughout. GMG
