SMU @ Nevada? How the heck did that happen?

Vanderbilt backed out of a home and home b/c their coaching staff is on the hot seat.  SMU wasn't notified until late spring and Nevada was one of only a few schools willing to play week zero.  Return game in Dallas is 2028 but I doubt that happens given P4 scheduling is all but assuredly going to do away with G5 OOC matchups.

I doubt the P4 scheduling of G6 programs is going away anymore that P6 schools scheduling 1AA teams. A coach still needs to win 6 games and go to some piss ant bowl in order to keep his job.

Is he hurt? I heard he lost the starting job.

I can't find the tweet (maybe they deleted it). But what's interesting is he's not even on the Nevada depth chart for the SMU game. So either he's hurt or he stinks lol.

Tarleton showing the fear many programs have. Their starting QB when out at the end of the first half when they had a lot of momentum. Backup comes in to start the second and this guy is terrible. I would say they lost 75 to 80% of their QB ability. Has demoralized the whole team and McNeese is making a comeback down by three with a couple minutes to go after being down by 19 at the half. Very scary not to have a good backup quarterback that is proven

I think the reality is that outside of the Top 25-30 programs in the country it’s hard enough to have a proven QB1, much less a proven QB2.

There seems to be almost no one at the Nevada game.   Don’t they know that they’re playing someone from the ACC??!  Shouldn’t they care at least a little??

Cracking Up Lol GIF

Can’t believe it’s 47 degrees there
