Austin UNT Alumni Chapter

It's Time Again to give a CHEER for the U of NT. Our home for our Football Watch Party will be at Brick's in South Austin this year near the corner of Slaughter and Menchaca. The dinner (and brunch til 2 pm) menu is tasty and reasonably priced. Come join your Mean Green Family in Austin and we will have a little bit of Swag to give away.

Message from the General Manager at Wings Over Frisco, who is also a UNT alumnus:

We’re excited to support the upcoming watch parties with a special "Mean Green" drink, and we’ll be offering $4 draft beers to anyone wearing UNT-themed attire during the games.
Additionally, as a way to show our support for the community, we’re pleased to offer a 10% discount every day of the week for UNT staff, alumni, and current students who visit us wearing UNT clothing.
We look forward to celebrating with you and the UNT community!

The place looks awesome!

I'd normally dig into someone who clearly doesn't know our name.  This isn't the case here, as they type out UNT twice in the same post.  So, call it a brain-fart?

Any game watching party in the Mid-Cities area...Irving, Arlington, Euless, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, etc.?  or even Ft. Worth?

More to come, but the Tarrant County Alumni Chapter Network is working on plans to hold watch parties at Boomer Jacks in Bedford.

I've learned that they are moving from Boomer Jacks to a different location.  I'll post something new once I learn what they are doing.

Or it's a 15 minute drive (or 25 minutes if you're extreme southern Carrollton) to the Frisco watch party, which isn't bad at all.  Limited traffic on Saturdays....

Is there any expectation that the Houston alumni will host a weekly watch party? I will be in town for Texas Tech
