How about UTAFW? Although they're calling it UTA West.

https://fortworthreport.org/2024/08/05/uta-to-build-major-new-campus-in-west-fort-worth-with-sights-on-2028-opening/

UTA is buying land at the intersection of I-20 and 30 in far west Fort Worth and plans to open a new campus there with buildout capacity to serve 10,000 students.

This is on my commute to work. This stretch of 20/30, like many roads in DFW, desperately needs widening, hopefully before 2028.

These buildings look similiar to the design in UNT Frisco's master plan:

Any reason why UNT, excluding our medical school, does not have a Ft. Worth campus? Texas Tech and Texas A&M both do.

We messed up years ago when we had the opportunity to buy Texas Wesleyan Law School for $6million (TCU passed on the opportunity as well). It was fully accredited with a building in downtown Fort Worth and unlike the UNT Dallas law school it would have been affiliated with the main campus. After we did not jump at that opportunity A&M contacted Tx Wesleyan and bought the school (somehow the school has gone from being unranked by USNWR to the 26th best law school in the nation and 2nd ranked in Texas) giving them land in Ft. Worth upon which they could expand.   They are currently expanding their campus and are planning on putting a lot of money into research and other programs there. They are going to be the dominate force in higher education in Fort Worth among public schools.

Agreed, but I still don't understand why we don't have a satellite campus in Ft. Worth.
