They offered tastes tonight at the Kickoff event (also tastes of the new NT Revolver beer) and took orders. Not sure about the bourbon, but Revolver says they currently have products for NT and TAMU.

Metzlers currently has the beer on tap and will have cans by the end of the week.

The blonde was strong. Delicious.

The whiskey mixed with lemonade Made a tasty Scrappy Sour. It too was outstanding.

Our Mean Green drinks are on point.

Winning will bring a whole different level to Denton Gameday.

I am thankful they are trying to do more things like this. Sadly, the one thing you can count on, just like with UNT gear, there will be those that no matter what they produce will complain about it.

Sadly true.

But what a summer. A beer, a bourbon, the caravans as normal, kickoff at the Hub Club, Nightmare on Elm Street, a volleyball invitational featuring 3 P4 conference opponents at The Super Pit, swim event with the team next week... it's been a pretty productive summer. Add in the TBT (although we didn't make it far) and it doesn't feel like the UNT offseason was that long.

NGL, I am super disappointed they partnered with an Oklahoma distillery, but only because I work for Lockwood Distilling here in the metroplex! Lol

I had a similar idea to this a few months ago, but wasn’t sure how to make it work!

love the thinking outside the box!

Wasn’t at the event but heard the beer is good and the bourbon is rough. That’s to be expected though. Love that we’re doing this kind of stuff.

I liked the bourbon better than the beer.

what does this 'partnership' entail? and what benefit does UNT get from it?

I thought the bourbon was perfectly acceptable. Wasn't blown away, but "rough" it was not.

With all the alcohol partnerships coming up this season, I'm starting to think the AD is trying to prepare us for pain. 🫣

The key to successful liquor sales is distribution. I invested in a now defunct tequila company that had an excellent product but we never could get a strong distributor and didn't make it. Oh well.
