Tennessee just got a commitment from a 6'2.5" 215 lb. linebacker

Texas has one from player that is 6'1.5" 220 lbs.

A&M: 5' 11.5"  205 lbs.

Arkansas: 6' 0.5"  200 lbs.

TCU: 6'1" 190 lbs.

Do they run a three-man front? We need LBs with size.

Bench warmers.  Practice fodder.

you watched his tape yet?  Thats a big boy that moves well.  Plays RB for them and takes one 70 on his first play to the house.  He can RUN.  You don't have to have Giant LB's in the 3 down stuff... Football players are just that.  Size aint everything.  You can find a lot more Zach Orr's than you can over sized LB's who got recruited because they are 6'3 225...especially at our level.  The bigger they get the higher level they go.  Unless NIL is involved which we have virtually none.

He needs to clean up his tackling a little but but he's only a junior in high school. I'm sure he's only going to get better. Nice film for sure.

Alot of HS kids rely heavily on being a lot better athlete than the kids they're tackling.  I don't have too much concern about that as thats the guys who make 2-300 thousand a year to coach's job to fix and clean up IMO

That is kind of what I was thinking as well. His college coaches will help fix HS habits.

Exactly. Like this commit. Now hold on to him.

I think the poor tackling we have seen over the last few years from our defense isn’t exhibit A for your assertion.
