It's called a controlled dive. Been here long enough to get excited and get crushed the next week. I'm excited about 4-1. But history says we shouldn't celebrate too soon.

Some of you will play whatever mental gymnastics you can to dismiss anything good happening on Bonnie Brae. They are coming off one of the most convincing wins we have seen around here in a really long time, they’re 4-1, and some of you can’t just sit back and be jazzed about that. I don’t get it.

I hate to see this. Graham was great at UNT and I thought he was a rising star in the coaching ranks. Plus, seems to be a great guy and he’s a local kid from Ennis.

Also I know Morris has one more season of eligibility and I wonder if that could entice a solid transfer to come in and play outside wideout.

Tulsa allowed an average of 366 yards coming into yesterday. We racked up 620, 254 over their season average against other opponents. South Alabama has averaged allowing 421 yards since we played them. We had 550, 129 over their season average against other opponents. Wyoming has averaged allowing 375 yards per game outside of when they played us. We had 534 against them, 159 over their season average against other opponents. We are an extremely large part of why these teams are ranked so low defensively. These defenses not being great doesn’t change the fact that we are exposing them in ways that other teams are not. We are outperforming their other opponents by very large amounts.
