How's all my homies doing out there?

I'm in Allen and just had some tree branches snap off and some pool stuff all over the place.

Lost power for a few hours. A few trees down in the neighborhood.

Got 4 inches of rain in about a 3 hour time frame. Never lost power.

Power just came on from 6:00am this morning. Central and East Dallas got hammered. Lots o old big trees to snap the power lines.

had a pretty rough night in the promise land.  Heavy straight line winds and lots of rain.  Many trees down around the city as well as yard stuff distributed around the neighborhoods.  Nothing compared to just north of us.

My house in kiowa dodged the tornado in Valley View. The loss of the life over there is tragic, I think it was 7 total, 4 children.

30 hours without power so far.  A good thing that I bought a portable generator after The Big Freeze.  Window AC and fans are managing to keep the room comfortable.  Still no cable internet, but a phone hotspot is doing ok.

I'm going to lose a lot of frozen food  😞  

Still, it's better than having a tornado take the house out.  I can't complain too much.
