Any word on Buggs?

Buggs has been at a different school every year...I don't expect him to be back at all.

I think the “school” part of this isn’t terribly important to him and he will regret it in the long run.

Here's the other issue with Buggs.  He's a one trick pony.  He doesn't have the handle to bring he ball up, he doesn't have the quickness to drive by someone or the ups to attack the rim.  He's a three point shooter, period.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Buggs, but he was feast or famine on offense, and although he hustled, he was a liability on defense.

This is an accurate analysis.

Buggs was the most disappointing transfer we had last year.  We already have three players that are much better than him at the guard spot.

You are right.  His injuries didn't help.

This may be why he is in the portal. Maybe he was encouraged to enter the portal to open up a spot for a better player.
