About once a week…of course, my discount doesn’t hurt

I understand 407 is a good friend to law enforcement. Another reason to support. Also decided pretty quickly they were going to be open for business during COVID times. I felt compelled to splurge and it didn't take much arm twisting.

I'm going to guess that with the name "Interstellar BBQ" that there's some connection to Matthew McConaughey.

Doesn't have to,  but...

Bodacious BBQ?

Not just any Bodacious.  On Moberly.

Another East Texas spot will probably at the worst be on the honorable mention section if not top 10, on the next list.  B4 bbq in mabank.

Joseph's Riverport BBQ, but he has mentored the Bodacious guys in Longview.

When it comes to good BBQ, don't tease!  LOL!

Where is Joseph's Riverport BBQ?

Almost all of these are wrong. Truth definitely isn't the best BBQ in Houston.

Then what is the best BBQ joint in Houston?

407 has really good peach cobbler, too.

My brother was the executive chef for Heim for a while not so long ago.

Big Z, I had Franklins BBQ on one occasion and was not that impressed.  However, in full disclosure, it was during the Covid Pandemic.  When they did finally open the restaurant during the pandemic it was drive-through/pickup only.  No "in restaurant" dining.  Some day I'll try it again.

Sorry, been out of the country all week. A small town in East Texas called Jefferson. It's been on and off the list the past few years.

Texas Monthly ranked Truth #3 in Texas in 2021. Of course this is all subjective, but Truth is definitely one of the top spots in Houston. Personally, it's my favorite. Pinkerton's and Pit Room are also very good.

For everyone who says they love Bodacious in Longview, (as you should, it's great), try Country Tavern just outside of Kilgore next time. Maybe the best BBQ I've ever had.

Oooh!  How could I forget Country Tavern!  The best baby back ribs in the entire universe.

FYI, I’m in Nashville with the wife and some friends.  Went to some highly treasured BBQ joint for dinner last night.  The “Q” was trash!  I don’t know how to explain it.  It’s just not good BBQ.

For anyone who hasn't experienced the greatness of Hutchins, you should treat yourself the next time you are in either Frisco or McKinney.  Some of the best brisket I've had (and other good stuff too).

And... since UNT has expanded into Frisco, I guess we can claim Hutchins as a UNT BBQ place  😎
