Rubin has graduated right?  Trying out somewhere else with his extra year sucks, but we got the full four years out of him.  It's only because of covid that he even has this.

So I’m still unsure if all this isn’t just an April fools joke because transferring benefits neither of them; however of all the players who could transfer they should be allowed. Neither has previously transferred. 3-4 years respectably. Ruben yes Scott idk if he had stayed 4 then yes. I think it should be only for players who end their career for UNT but that’s not written in stone anywhere.

They can still love North Texas while using that extra year for a new experience. He's spent 4 years here. I'm sure there's plenty of alumni on this board with Master's degrees from a place other than UNT. He isn't doing anything different.

I feel  that is BS unless he gets a good offer.  Seems to me Drez and Jame Reese had bad experiences with portal.

So spending 4 years at a school, getting your bachelor's degree, and then going to a different school for your master's means you don't love the school you got your bachelor's from? Most people do that. The only difference is he plays college sports and most don't.

      UTSA Game Poll

      UTSA is 4-0 at home and 0-5 away for 4-5 overall. NT is 3-2 at home and 2-2 away for 5-4 overall. They haven't gone thru the 3 game gauntlet NT has. Homer says we'll win by 14.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      figure one main thread to keep track of how our opponents are faring. the AAC is off to a pretty strong start...overall record of 29-7. plus currently Oregon State, High Point and Utah State / St. Bonaventure are all 3-0 - Memphis (2-0) with two quality wins v. Mizzou and UNLV. they should be undefeated (though San Francisco isn't a gimmie) heading into a 11/25 game with UCONN. - UAB (2-1)...I thought their loss to Vermont wouldn't look too bad, but UV has two pretty ugly losses now. really intriguing game tomorrow 11/15 v. High Point - FAU (2-1) look tough...their loss was by 6 to UCF who already beat then 13th A&M. - the other undefeated teams, ECU (3-0), Temple (3-0), Tulane (3-0), Tulsa (3-0), Wichita St. (2-0) collectively really haven't played much of a schedule...best win is probably WSU over WKU...but they've made pretty light work of what's in front of them. Games of interest over the next week or so: 11/14 - Northern Iowa @ Wichita State 11/15 - UAB @ HighPoint ; Temple @ Boston College ; FAU v. Charlston and Liberty (11/16) 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next)

      Sure but how good is Charlotte? They beat Richmond who lost to Marist. Utah State's other D1 win is against 0-3 Alcorn State who lost to an NAIA school. Again too early to really tell either way.

      they dropped 100 on a conference mate. currently 47 in KenPom. Memphis is at 37 and currently our highest rated opponent.
