It will be interesting to see how the PAC-2 attempts to rebuild the PAC.  Obviously they have a limited pool of FBS programs (MWC) and perhaps some AAC schools to try and sway.

First priority would be to find a willing media partner for broadcast rights for any potential membership scenario.   I just don't see OSU and WSU willingly joining the MWC and dropping to G5 unless there is no other viable option, including going Indy.

We could easily do the PAC, if it has viable media rights and local teams too like in your scenario.

North Texas' location allows us to go East or West.   $mut would cry if we got a P5 patch too without giving up concessions to get in like they did, lol!

Is there a place to sign up for this?

I know talks have went soft on alignment, etc. However, there is no greater time for UNT to be positioning themselves while it's not a national media event. UNT must be doing everything in its power to align itself with the best possible peer group it can snab. The ONLY thing about it I would dislike is getting away from the service academies, but they can always be on the non-con here and there. Outside of that, this would be a really good position for UNT to be in.
