LSU had a massive size advantage which they exploited the first time we played them.  Not so much on Tuesday though.

They didn't see NIT Sissoko they saw non NIT Sissoko, a very different bball player.

Meh. 1 has starter minutes. Another has reserve minutes. The other 2 don't play. The rest of their team (contributors)... 6'6", 6'6", 6'2", 6'4". We'll be aight if we play our game and keep playing great gap help defense.

Right.   Their 2 bigs who actually contribute are 6'11 & 6'10.   We have 6'10 Sissoko & 6'9 Allen.  We'll be fine down there.
Honestly, if there is a mismatch to be exploited, it's going to be AScott against whoever they trot out on him (likely Dre Davis).

Defensively, it's going to come down to if we can contain their 3 good guards... any of whom can go off on any given night.    Their PG, Dawes, has been hot over the past 2 games, while their top scorer, Richmond, has only put up 19pts over the same span (in 76 total minutes) on some pretty poor shooting.

We're not really going to catch them off-guard with pace of play like we do alot of other teams.  They're pretty slow as well, ranking in the bottom 1/3 in possessions/40min.
They struggled with the 2 teams they played who are in our neighborhood defensively (UConn & Nova... of course, everyone struggles against UConn! 😂).

These dudes can be had.  Especially if they come in overconfident.

Watching the game last night, one of my first thoughts was that neither team would kill us with their size.

I like our chances.

They don't shoot well from 3 but are great at the FT line 77%. Going to have keep them from getting to the line. They are middle of the pack rebounding but good on the offensive glass. Should be a guard dominated game. Hate the early start for our guys especially playing on the east coast at their place. They play in a band box gym that seats 1,600 for basketball. They will have a huge advantage with a packed, loud crowd and we will need to adjust to shooting in the small setting. Maybe playing at Rice's gym will help us. Go Mean Green!

I bet they are looking ahead to playing Boston College or UNLV.

I don't know if they have a gmg.com comparative board, but their Rivals board is somewhat active, and there is very little talk about us.  Who knows what their players are thinking though.

Other coaches respect us but not their fan base. I like being the underdog in games like this.

You just broke the “McKracked” code. Dude has a future writing for “over the top” news.
