It helps that several schools looked down their noses at the NIT, but I'll take it.

Yep… If a team declines then the NCAA should made a rule that they cannot be considered for the Big Dance the next season. The NCAA never carry’s its weight and allows cowardess universities to dictate things. Pathetic.

Why should someone be made to play if they don't want to?  It'd just turn into the college bowl game crisis where so many kids opt out.

Exactly! That's what I was saying before. I was hoping it made a diff.

I still don't understand why teams wouldn't want to play more games. I think the only reason I can think of is getting a head start on recruiting?

What’s ironic is that Tylor Perry transferred to get right back in the NIT, and potentially, face his former team.

I was going to post something about this. Very ironic. Only difference is he is a lot more well off financially.

No lies told. The fact that were are still playing is a testament to the culture Grant started and Ross is continuing to build on. While other programs just wanna start playing GM, we’re tryin to hang a banner.

If we're playing a 4 seed.....that means it wasn't even close on us being in. We're the 5 seed in our side of the bracket....meaning that we're somewhere in teams 17-20 of the 32 selected.

I read that teams 17-32 are unseeded and placed against a seeded team near to their regional interest.

We did not get in because of our name. We got in because they actually looked at our one and two possession losses against Q1 and Q2 teams. Our NET ranking is also not horrible, on par with South Florida. I was surprised that we did get in, but our resume supports it.
