Conference tournaments have already started. Thought this halftime score from the WCC deserved a mention.

Final was 102-43.  Pacific was 0-16 in Conference this season.

If this is the case, maybe that opens up a spot for NIT for us.

That would be awesome, but I bet the NIT only takes two teams from the AAC. Memphis, SMU, UAB, and Charlotte all have better resumés. Maybe a run to conference title game would do it.

So, we lost by 3 points and 4 points to a #8 seed, and by 5 points to a #12 seed.

I think we are competing on a good level and can beat any of these teams on any given day.

Until you do - you can't.

W - 0

L - 3

MV - 3

Wrong- we are a good team that can win this thing! The odds are against us but we need to remember our roots (Defense) and hang our hat there. It is an up hill battle but we can do it.

Best we can hope for is CBI at this point and after winning the NIT I am not sure I would even take it.  Ross should focus on recruiting and next year.

I completely disagree. Any time the team can play more games post season it's a win. Should we have not accepted the CBI in Grant's first year and not lift the trophy?

Regardless of what happens in the Big 12 tournament, I think its safe to say we locked up the #1 overall seed.

Of course having a 20 point halftime lead on Kansas helps too.

In case you haven't figured this out, though I think you have, it's replies like this that keep him here and actively posting.

Another Bracket that includes USF and FAU.

NCAA Tournament Projections: A Closer Look at the Bubble (msn.com)

The NCAA tourney really tries to avoid having schools from the same conference appear before the Regional Finals (Elite 8).  About the only time they can't is when a league gets in 9 teams teams like the old Big East did years ago.  I don't really think their bracket makes much sense as USF and FAU would be slated to meet in the Sweet 16.

Cincinnati up by 13 on Kansas at halftime.

If I'm not mistaken, Kansas was down their top 2 leading scorers. Not sure this win does much for Cincinnati other than give them another game to play.
