6 o'clock home game on Wednesday night against a Metroplex rival.

This is the first of two meetings between the teams this year. The home team won both matchups last year. Hopefully we get a sweep this year as UTA is off to a 3-12 start.

“We can’t worry about wins and losses right now,” DeLong said. “I’m more concerned with how we play — right now we still haven’t played very many good games, so I think that overall that’s the disappointing thing to me.

“The wins will come, that stuff will work itself out, right now I’m just worried about how we play.”

I guess you can say we made progress in this past tournament by actually scoring runs against our power conference opponent in Tech, including 7 on Saturday night. And we haven't been no-hit yet! I know we were victims last year against Kentucky, and maybe one other time? At Mizzou I think? But we need to get back to beating power schools regularly. I remember in years past going to Baylor's tournament multiple years in a row and beating the Lady Bears at least once a few seasons in a row, it seemed.
