NT 33 ----------- Memphis 30

Halftime

I'll take it.  Worried if our shooting vanishes again though.

We have to figure out a way to get Edwards open. They put 8 on him and shut him down.

I remember mentioning these scoring droughts once…and somebody told me “everybody has them”

Memphis was stuck on 2 and 4 points for like 3 minutes each…. I like Emmitt but yes it is normal and happens…. We were up 18-4 did their fans say the same thing….

I think most teams have ones that last 3-4 minutes.  Given our slower pace of play, it's not surprising ours can last longer.  On the other side, we also shut down teams for long minute stretches though.  Hell, Wisconsin went over 9 minutes against us.

What we don't need is multiple stretches like that.  It's what killed us in the CUSA tourney a coupe of years ago.

NT 38 ----------- Memphis 33

15:59 to go

Keeping our nose in front.  Scott really needs to come out of his funk, but he's still playing nice defense and grabbing boards.
