@CMJ needs a break from posting the game thread, and we as a forum need to do something differently to break this three-game losing streak.

We get what on paper looks like a good chance, albeit on the road, against a Tulsa team that is a 3-6 team in conference.

However, if you dig deeper, they have played a lot of good teams close. Lost to Memphis by 3, at ECU by 5, at Charlotte by 8, and took Tulane to OT. They shat the bed against FAU today though and lost by four touchdowns + four 2-point conversions.

We need this one so badly.  Losing 4 of 5 is very unlike our teams of recent years.

We have been right in every one of those loses….top teams in the conference.   We win those games with a full roster.  We belong in this conference.

100%, the injury bug has cropped its ugly head. Look at any other team, even NBA, when you lose 2 starters, you aren't winning games against top of the conference. It's hard enough to win them full strength.

To that point, if you look at the way we are still in games with these injuries, says a lot about our resilience and coaching. I believe in Boss Hodge.

Folks, whatever you have been wearing for these games, make a change. If you’ve been drinking Coke, time for Dr. Pepper, Coors Light?  Time for Miller light, commando?  Put on some drawers.  Change it all up to change the juju.

Would you recommend getting divorced, or is that too much?

It is a rough time to be a Mavs & UNT hoops fan on the injury front.

Tulsa plays zero defense but can light it up offensively. It will be interesting to see how we play and if Moore and Cotton get any PT. Don't think Hodge plays them unless we are in foul trouble. Scott needs to have a bounce back game on the offensive end to take some pressure off Edwards. Buggs should get plenty of open looks.
