Pitiful that the play is being reviewed...put the whole game under the microscope and I am sure there were more blown calls...referees are only human.

Crazy to think we are ahead of Memphis but I also think this may put a target on our backs for the remainder of the season.

To be fair, our 4 wins have come against teams currently in the bottom half of the conference so the next week will tell us more about where we stand in the league overall. At Charolette, Smut and at FAU then home against UAB. The next 4 will be tough. Sure hope we can get Jones and Buggs back for some of those games. GMG

“The Mean Green are headed to Charlotte this Saturday in a matchup of two improving teams.”

Improving?   I think winning in NCAAs, CBI, and NIT is beyond the label of an improving program.

3 weeks is usually the soonest someone comes back from a hamstring injury and SMU would be 3 weeks exactly for Rubin. I imagine the staff will play this cautiously to prioritize tourney health over regular conference play.

I think they are referring to our improving play and record over the last 6 games. We are getting better over time and the addition of Walker has helped immensely.

Charlotte beat FAU and has won 4 in a row.

My prediction for Saturday "Down goes Charlotte!"

Memphis: 3 of 4 wins vs bottom half

FAU: 3 of 4 wins vs bottom half

Charlotte: 3 of 4 wins vs bottom half

SMU: 2 of 3 wins vs bottom half

UAB: 2 of 3 wins vs bottom half

USF: 2 of 3 wins vs bottom half

The above mentioned teams have each played a team in the top half of the conference and they have all lost. The entire conference has gotten fat on the bottom half of the conference. As for teams that have played two teams in the top half, they have all split.

A tainted 1st place. Fingers crossed that they don’t award ECU the win after the Missed Calls Review committee meeting today.

Do you really think there is a Missed Calls Review committee that changes game results?

How did you come up with that idea?

In the world we live in I would not be surprised if there was such a committee.
