30 days to find another place is wild to me. Even with late enrollment, they’re pretty much stuck. Right?

LaTech has a weird calendar. Anyone else use a similar one?  Would those schools be potential landing spots for these players?

Louisiana schools are on a Quarter system

I didn’t realize the entire state followed the same system. Thanks.

25 years ago, but the JUCO I attended in Alabama was also on a Quarter system, but not sure if still that way for the the other colleges

Classes start in January and then again in March.  Not sure if it would be quite the recruiting advantage I initially believed it to be.

South Alabama is going to lose some players to the transfer portal now and may be pretty depleted when next season comes. I get that we’re playing them next year but this still sucks to see. Smaller programs can’t bounce back quickly after losing head coaches and players to the transfer portal like the big programs can

ESPN reporting that Major Applewhite is close to getting the HC job at South Alabama  (he is their OC.) Might be a good way to keep the staff together and minimize the transition
