If the staff/players believe 8 wins is the floor, I’m here for it!  This upcoming season will be EM’s team. Looking forward to a great season!

Hahaha.  What's he going to say?  "they're on track to win 2-3 games next year.  that's what excites me."

If what Mooney is saying is what the staff is actually telling recruits, I'm relieved.  Stop settling! Maybe Morris actually reached out to Cam Ward and gave it a shot!

Watched a little of Mooney’s clips on YouTube. He looked good. Throws a really nice ball and looks quite confident when passing. Then again, they’re highlights, but you can see the promise

It’s kind of like when GMac took over. He told the team, “We’re here to win championships.”  Some players laughed and they were no longer with the team.   Gotta speak it and believe it to achieve it. I’m good with it.

It does not appear that Mooney ever made an appearance for the Liberty baseball team.

      Money, It Just Means More

      Mid-Majors for years competed and showed well in the NCAA tourney BECAUSE we kept teams together when P5s were going after lottery pick guys who constantly left early, leaving them in rebuild mode every year. With unlimited transfers and NIL, every team is in rebuild mode every season, but now the P5 can always ensure they have the absolute top, experienced, talent. They've shot the golden goose. Media is all over this final four, but I am struggling. I'm looking forward to a potential Flagg vs Brohme final matchup, but seriously worried over the future of the sport. I do not care about an NCAA tourney that only ever rewards the top spending teams.

      I'm sure with some time and effort I could give you a better estimate but off the top of my head our 2012 stadium expansion cost 35$ Million, our current weightroom/premium seating addition is another 35$ mil, 60$ mil to renovate our arena in 2018, 8$ mil baseball project that is soon to kick off. We also built a track and field complex back in 2010 or so. Couldn't find a figure for that on a quick search. So that's at least 138$ million right there. No probably about it.

      let's get this thread back on the rails... Three CSU players entered the portal so far today: Ja'Shawn Stevenson - 6'2" 200 Fr. - this was the one that jumped out from their roster after I learned of the hire...from Chicago, all Horizon freshman team, averaged just shy of 10ppg...not great 3pt numbers (34.5%...comparable percentage to Floyd/Massie, but on twice as many attempts) but those percentages usually go up with age...2pt FG% at 44.5% would've made him the third most efficient scorer here behind Lorient and Sissoko...84% FT% would've been second behind Wright. Tyler Spratt - 6'5" 200 RS-Fr - redshirted last year...no idea if injury/readiness related...offers from CSU, Robert Morris and High Point seem to be his best...so I don't know...he's Alex Cotton? KJ Debrick - 6'9" 240 JUCO Sr - presumably a Floyd 5th year eligibility? played in 33 games averaging less than 3ppg/3rpg...would be pretty bummed if we burn a ship on him.
