Yes.

“They have five offensive linemen coming in from other schools and have changed their defense by going into the portal,” Mooney said. “They’re on track to win eight, nine, 10, 11 or 12 games and ultimately get into the playoff. That’s what everyone is striving for.”

If the staff/players believe 8 wins is the floor, I’m here for it!  This upcoming season will be EM’s team. Looking forward to a great season!

Hahaha.  What's he going to say?  "they're on track to win 2-3 games next year.  that's what excites me."

If what Mooney is saying is what the staff is actually telling recruits, I'm relieved.  Stop settling! Maybe Morris actually reached out to Cam Ward and gave it a shot!

Watched a little of Mooney’s clips on YouTube. He looked good. Throws a really nice ball and looks quite confident when passing. Then again, they’re highlights, but you can see the promise

It’s kind of like when GMac took over. He told the team, “We’re here to win championships.”  Some players laughed and they were no longer with the team.   Gotta speak it and believe it to achieve it. I’m good with it.

Reese was kind of overshadowed his senior season because he graduated the same year as Louisiana QB's Arch Manning and Eli Holstein. Reese Mooney was also a star baseball player at Denham Springs outside Baton Rouge. He chose Liberty over many traditional football powers because the Flames coaching staff guaranteed that he would be permitted to play both football and baseball.

It does not appear that Mooney ever made an appearance for the Liberty baseball team.
