The lawsuit alleges a Texas Tech booster bought alcoholic drinks for Isaacs and a teammate. They were in a room with two girls, ages 17 and 16. The lawsuit says Isaacs and the 17-year-old went to another room, where she was sexually assaulted after she "attempted to fight him off."

According to the lawsuit, Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland was contacted by the plaintiffs Dec. 14. McCasland reported the situation to athletic director Kirby Hocutt and other university officials, it says.

Texas Tech did not immediately respond to ESPN's request for comment.

Will probably end up at SMU (just a guess) but a top 2023 area talent from Frisco Memorial. Speculation is that his sister was the female involved in the alleged assault. Steffe was away from the team due to personal reasons prior to entering the portal. Hadn't seen any game action and was headed toward a redshirt year. Would love his outside shooting in the Super Pit but don't see any avenues.

Didn’t Joe Paterno at Penn State get in trouble for “only” reporting alleged sexual abuse to the “Athletic Director” ?

This is going to be an ongoing issues for schools. Boosters and NIL dollars not controlled by the school. As we saw UMiami a lot of these boosters want access to players and now they get paid from a non school entity..
