Realistically, we need any viable transfers to sign up and be part of spring ball......especially QB's.

What is the official deadline for that?

It is based on being accepted and enrolled in classes. I guess the stretch date would be when late enrollment ends.

So, did Earle only threaten to leave?

Is this guy still on the roster?

Dylan Gebbia - Football - University of North Texas Athletics (meangreensports.com)

Pretty sure Earle was officially in the portal, but you can back out if you choose. He "committed" to ACU, but obviously, that was never set in stone (no pun intended). When Rogers hit the portal it didn't take long for Earle to take his name from the portal

In talks with chandler morris.

Salter from Cedar Hill , LIBERTY has entered. A lot of talented Texas qb's in the portal. How many head coaches have found a non recruited player in high school and developed him into a first round NFL draft pick? Morris has a lot to sell.

You're correct with your comments; however, there seem to be more important things for some players (not saying right or wrong, just saying how it looks) than the ability to be developed. For some of these players, the bottom line is NIL money. Look at quarterbacks willing to transfer from starting roles to be backups at other schools. There also seem to be some players who want the experience of playing at the power level.

Yes, and it's unfortunate. But they are using the system and striking while the iron is hot. Most of these guys have no financial future in athletics, and they know that.

Also, similar to players are coaches making alike moves. HCs at underfunded programs who get paid in the 5-800k range have given up their head coach role to take 1.2-2M coordinator roles at "bigger" programs.
