Guys, 247 has us ranked last in the AAC regarding transfers coming in. Hopefully this will change.

Outside of the big P5 schools landing the huge transfers, I’m not sure too many transfers have made their final destinations known yet. There’s a lot of guys still out there. But I agree, let’s hope they choose UNT!

They also gave players like Fine, Darden, KD, etc. low ratings.  Let's see how they perform.

I think a more relevant point would be, look at previous year transfer rankings, and see how that compares to final results/standings.

Where are you seeing that we’re last? AAC transfer portal rankings shows us tied for 5th. Overall rankings have us 6th but with a large number of our commits yet to receive a rating.

The one I saw earlier today had us last with 10 commitments and SMU first. Its a moving target thru tomorrow.

They have moved SMU out of AAC, have Charlotte 1st, UNT,UTSA,UAB tied for 5th, Rice last. Navy doesn't report.

They haven't ranked any of them as portal players yet, just like they haven't ranked 5/6 of our HS Signees... They're lazy as hell they rank the top 30/35 programs for everything then get around to all the other stuff when they can.... Brutal

They have to give boosts to the players who sign with the top programs. And then when they get to schools like UNT, they knock their rankings down a peg. Can't wait to see what they give us!

They typically are pretty lazy and just give a kid a high 2 star or low 3 star and move on.  They did re up a few of our signees to mid/upper mid 3 stars but haven't got around to the newer commits yet.

Yes it does not appear they put much effort into this process.

Mike Craven said as much a few weeks ago.  The recruiting sites pay attention to the 4/5’s and not so much to the 3’s.  He pretty much said, “It’s a crapshoot with the 3’s”. I feel good about our coaches abilities to evaluate talent regardless of stars.

Our lowest rated is at a .8500 (Peterson) with the others rated, .86, .86, .87, .93, .86, .87, .88, & .94.

Looking at our departures, only 6 caught on with other schools.  Rogers at Cal, Adaway @ S.Caro., Miner @ MS. St., Sampson at TCU, Johnson at UT-Martin and Maclin at UK.
