There is no scenario where a G5 can establish this kind of brand/identity.  Not since the creation of the P5/G5/BCS stuff.

Now, it's even worse: with NILs groups able to bid freely - with no cap - for the services of players, these student-athletes are leveraging their abilities in the portal and leaving places like Alabama/USC/etc to command more money.
