I'd like a thread talking about our conference postseason activity.  This thread will be updated with matchups as the info comes in.

I'll start with this statement from our commissioner Aresco about SMU and the NY6 selection.

Looking forward to seeing where our AAC peers land, and best wishes to them against their future opponent.

LIST

12/19 UTSA vs. Marshall in the Frisco Bowl (Frisco, TX)
12/21 USF in the Boca Raton, FL Bowl (Boca Raton, FL)
12/26 Rice vs. Texas State in the ServePro First Responder Bowl (Dallas, TX)
12/27 Tulane in the Military Bowl (Annapolis, MD)
12/28 SMU vs. Boston College in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl (Boston, MA)
12/29 Memphis vs. Iowa State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl (Memphis, TN)

Dear Smut:

We have a nice parting gift for you!!!  NO NY6 Bowl!  Lol!

(and btw, the ACC gets no respect either)

Love, your former friends in the AAC

So the reward for winning the AAC championship is playing 6&6 B.C. in a second rate bowl in New York? In fact, I think most of our bowl opponents are 6&6. Not a big step up from CUSA and SBC conferences.

That's one way to see it.  Here's another.

Not even in New York. It’s a second rate bowl in a baseball stadium in Boston.

Hahaha.  I didn’t catch that.  @wardly You’re gonna end up like Kramer:  waking up in the Hudson River…in a sack🤣🤣. I’m sure those New Yorkers wouldn’t be happy with you saying Fenway was in NY.

You do realize Fenway is in Boston, so it is a 2nd rate bowl in Boston, not NYC, so your burn is more like an ant bite

Brain fart. I actually have been to Fenway Park and saw the Red Sox host the Yankees.

It's still a second rate bowl regardless of where it is played. Also, red ant bites sting.
