If SMU beats Tulane will this happen or with the powers-that-be jump SMU over Liberty? While I would like to see the American get the G5 team in, can't find myself pulling for SMU.

I'm not at all enamored with Liberty's schedule but the bowl committee shouldn't skip over a 13-0 team to take a 2 loss team.

Tulane just kept getting by all season, and of course the one team they choose not to get by against was SMU.

Yes, there is a pecking order with these committees, regardless of any facts.

The problem in general is involving a committee at all. It should be more like basketball where the committee isn't as involved nearly as much.

Shouldn’t we want SMU? The more successful they are in the playoffs the more money to the conference and UNT. A payout for the playoffs and a nice exit fee, perfect. GMG

But we lost to a weak TCU. That's on SMU.  

Toss up, no idea who's going to get it.
