trying to be positive with so many underclassmen on the defense, hoping they learn exponentially by Year 2, but coaches have to put them in the position to win, but this defense is horrible under pressure, 3rd down and gives up a 40yd reception

Many times I see our defender just waiting in the hole instead of attacking the ball carrier. Where does this mentality come from?

But it was the wrong defense to line up in.  The middle of the field was void ready for a delayed release reciever to catch and run a mile.

I just got my message board promotion to Veteran rank.

Never was North Texas fandom more earned than watching this defense all season long.

I even had to watch it in higher broadcast quality than we got in CUSA.
