I hate the risk of jinxing anything, but, North Texas has gone on an incredible run to take a 60-53 lead with 6 minutes left.

Lamkin now with 19 points.

Now up 71-58 with 2:30 left.

Current Trends

FGs: 7 OF LAST 8

NO FGS LAST 3:31

Wow, UNT made 7 of last 8 shots and SIU has been held without a FG for last 3 1/2 minutes of play.

Just looking across A&M's schedule for some perspective.

They lost @ Purdue

Purdue got absolutely hammered by a T10 UCLA team.

Scattershootin': Is there lack of parity in WBB? Seems like you have a top tier of 3-5 teams that are untouchable by the rest of the field.  Then you have a 2nd tier (10 teams?) which is equally ahead of everyone below them.

I thought A&M was really good, but that score suggest they are not in the realm of T15.

I think this is a bigger factor of why "women's basketball isn't as exciting as men's basketball," bigger than "women can't dunk."

Just not a big pool of real contenders. Not nearly as many upsets during the season or postseason. Although the UConn Lady Huskies are on a bit of a title drought, which is good.
