ZERO. The Texas High School Coaches Association ain’t worth a piece of dried up cow dung when you can offer a recruit unlimited NIL money. 

Maybe that convention matters to North Texas and UTSA and Rice. It don’t matter to A&M.

With all due respect, how do you know that? While NIL dollars play a significant part, at their level, it's very similar to other schools (Texas, LSU, SEC, and BIG10 schools). Perhaps some of those players, considering them, asked their coach his opinion, and he did not have anything favorable to say about A&M due to Fisher.

I get the point you’re trying to make, but recruiting and getting good athletes was not Jimbo’s issue at A&M.

Well, the class of 2022 that he signed was the highest ranked recruiting class in college football history. So I am guessing anything bad a high school coach said about Jimbo didn’t have much weight with the players.
