Worst looking uniforms ever

The uniforms SMU came out in tonight are without any doubt the ugliest ever.  As much as I don’t like our grey uniforms, they are worlds better looking than blue on black.

The Dallas triple D looks horrible as well. Does not belong on a uniform. In addition, as a born and raised Dallas native, SMU does not represent Dallas. Never met anybody from Dallas who liked SMU unless they had a connection to the school.

Just a rumor, but I heard that when SMU reaches ACC nirvana next year, the uniforms will be designed by Christian Dior....developing.

It's fairly obvious they are trying to distance themselves from the name SMU. I can't say I blame them with the history of cheating at the school but for some reason they have made a very directed marketing plan at disassociating themselves with the name SMU

Meh, I'm not a fan of them, but I don't think we can really speak. Ours look terrible. Like a semi-updated version of the Dodge-era jerseys.

SMU comes out for a Friday night national TV game dressed in uniforms that look nothing like themselves and are ugly as hell.

By creating new uniforms all the time Oregon caused a Miami Vice effect on the rest of the NCAA. Teams think if they do the same thing they will look that good, but it never works for anybody else.

In my freshman year of college we all thought we could pull off the Don Johnson look of sports coat, T-shirt and stubble. Instead we looked like this.

No, I would never defend SMU, but we've had dozens of uniforms that have been just as trashy.
