Found this on their fan site www.panthernation.com. Interesting to see what others think of our program. 

Looks like UNT was picked to finish 6th out of 14 teams in the AAC (two spots ahead of Wichita State ) earlier this week by their conference's coaches and media members. Last made the NCAA Tournament in 2021 where they upset 4-seed Purdue in the opening round. They also won the NIT last season. However, they only return 1 starter and it doesn't look like they have anyone on the AAC pre-season all-conference team.

Never easy to win on the road, but this would be a nice one to win coming out of the gates.

UNI wasn't particularly good last season (14-18, 9-11 conf), but they do bring back pretty much all their key contributors from last season, including a player injured two games into the season and added a 6'11" transfer from Loyola-Chicago (top program, for those unfamiliar). purely guessing, but I'll assume this is the line-up/rotation we'll see

1. Bowen Born - 5'11" 170, Jr - 17.9ppg, 2.7apg, 36.7% 3-pt
2. Trey Campbell - 6'4" 185, Soph - 7.5ppg, 3.7rpg, 33% 3-pt
3. Michal Duax - 6'6" 215, Soph - 10ppg, 4.7rpg, 57.4% FG%
4. Tytan Anderson - 6'6" 205, Jr - 12.6ppg, 8.5rpg, 15 blocks (team high)
5. Jacob Hutson - 6'11" 250, Jr - 3.5ppg, 1.4rpg, 12-29 (41.4%) 3-pt in three seasons at Loyola-Chicago
Bench
Nate Heise - 6'5" 205, Jr - 12ppg in 2 games in 22-23; 8.6ppg, 4.6rbg, 35.5% 3-pt as Soph in 21-22
Landon Wolf - 6'4" 195 Soph - 7.4ppg, 36.2% 3-pt

small-ish team, but it looks like their 6'5"-ish guards all rebound well for their size. not much for blocking shots...45 as a team (for reference, Abou had 45 last season) and the transfer Hutson has all of 13 in 3 seasons. 

decent perimeter shooting numbers, but considering all these contributors were freshmen/sophomores you'd gotta anticipate some growth year-on-year. 

I think this is gonna be a very difficult test
