Defensive recruiting question

Why would you choose to come and play for this defensive coordinator in this defense? I know the easy answer is you're probably sure to get playing time but honestly would you want to play for this defensive coordinator?

Iowa St had a solid defense with the proper players. Our current defense is made up of walk ons, undersized players, former p5 back ups, juco guys, redshirt and true freshman. The number 1 selling point should be playing time and number 2 should be creating your own path. Come here and succeed, you will get opportunities for either P5 NIL money or chance to play in NFL/XFL.

I’ll go with recruits and their families are going to be realistic about how challenging it is to produce results in a completely new defensive scheme with players not recruited for that scheme or used to playing in that scheme.
