I used to compete against Kerry in the discus at track meets.  Well, it wasn't really a competition.  He beat everybody.  Nice guy though.

There used to be a store in Carriage Square shopping center, the one recently demolished, called Athlete's Center where we bought our equipment for baseball, basketball, etc...  The Von Erich brothers ordered their wrestling gear through that store as well, and I ran into Kerry on a number of occasions.  I also remember him being really nice, but the last time I saw him, he smelled pretty strongly of pot and it changed my opinion of him at the time.  

Another movie currently in production is one based on the life of Rex Cauble.  That should be interesting as well.
