what the douchebag is your problem?  your vitriol and hatred for these guys here and on twitter is pathetic.  why fire them today?  held navy to 27....defense played really good.  you want to fire someone, fire rogers....2 fumbles that lost the momentum and game.  morris and company have show improvements every game...you hate them so much...quit the team. you will be happier

You are right. Defense held them to their average scoring of the season save for the Norte Dame game. Rogers was a liability this game and almost as bad as Earl in protecting the ball. Dudes gotta know the constant blitz and get it out or exit the pocket.  He cost us this one. And our slow start didn’t help.

Well sort of... we could only get them off the field when they helped us get them off.

If someone told me going into the game that we would give up 27, I would be feeling really good about our chances to win.

The offense, and offensive play calling, is what lost us this one.

Sure. But Navy's style of play just sucks the air out of the game by nature. They took snaps away from us. Limited our chances to find a rhythm offensively, and consquentially, we never really did. None of that will show in the boxscore, but it is the reality.

Why run the ball up the middle from the spread offense on 1st and a foot from a touchdown? I saw Arkansas do the same thing last week against LSU with the same result and their QB is at least 6'3'' and over 235 pounds.

What if we are bottom of the barrel?

🤔

Isn’t that the problem?  The guy that sucked too much last year had us one drive away in a bowl game…

Those solely blaming Rogers on his fumbles are ignorant to the game. The blame falls on the one calling formation/play and Rogers for not recognizing.

so.....we cant blame his fumbles, but we can blame him for not recognizing?  he played a really good game.  the boys should have won, but those 2 fumbles douchebaged the team

We can blame him for not seeing who was getting ready to bounce his head off the turf, yes. As a former starter, he should be able to see that and laugh at his HC for calling formation/passpro/play at the LOS and check into something more protecting. But getting smoked and fumbling is not his fault. Ultimately, blame falls at the feet of Eric Morris for putting his team and his QB in that position. And we damn sure should blame Eric Morris for his short yardage package, and several of his D&D playcalling throughout the game. And, of course, blaming our soft defense is still on the table.
