Morris is running a variation of the 50 defense, which is better than the 3-3-5. Basically, it's what teams ran 40 years ago when every offense was some version of the option. My concern is that it won't hold for 4 quarters and it will give up some deep balls. 

I'm bumping this, since this ancient 50 just gave up a second deep ball.

Morris needs a real defensive solution. The 3-3-5 isn't the answer, and this gimmick 50 is dated and is beginning to get exposed.

Hmmm. Bringing in Earle. I guess this means they want to run the QB more? Otherwise I dont' get why theyd do this. Unless Rogers had some problem after that blindside hit he took (after which he still scored later in the half)

Not saying I’m happy with their performance…but they rushed for TEN more yards than we did
