Kind of miss this trend that died with SL's headcoaching career. Oh, sins to forgive: not starting Rogers against FIU, losing to FIU, and hiring Caponi as DC altogether.

If Morris can put a defense out there that locks down Navy then in my opinion he is raised from the dead.  Unfortunately that miracle hasn’t happened again in over two thousand years.

So FIU is 3&3 scoring an average of 14 points per game. Except when they ran over UNT for 39 points. I don't see the worst defense in the nation stopping Navy's running game.

One day at a time. One game at a time. Feathers today and chicken tomorrow. Give it time so we can judge over time and revisit this issue a year from now...two years from now. Beat Navy.

Damn, why all the hate on the original post? I thought this inside joke was hilarious last year.

But Morris's sins aren't forgiven until/unless we become bowl eligible, for wasting one of our easy opportunities against FIU.

The post was just meant to be a joke. I don't think we're anywhere near needing for sins to be forgiven. Just thought it was a funny trend we had last year.

Sorry for angering you with a little playfulness. Maybe go for a walk so you can decompress.

Four games into his career here and this is a thread?  Not angered, but just don't understand the need.

It was a joke because of the trend we had a last year. Take a breather.

Depends "How" he beats Navy. Hint...change defensive scheme to start.

FYI......Navy has lost to ND, Memphis, South Florida...

The scheme will be changed. My goodness, if we trot out a 3-man front tomorrow then go ahead and literally burn it all to the ground.

Of course his sins would be forgiven. He already atoned for his offensive wrongdoing. But, the only way UNT beats Navy tomorrow is if Morris runs a 4-down linemen front for the majority of the game, which he has yet to commit to doing.

I think some of you are just setting yourselves up to get upset game after game this year. They may go 4 down linemen at times or maybe even most of the time tomorrow, but this staff has proven they’re committed to the 3-3-5. It’s going to pop back up. This is your warning post.

I have a hard time believing otherwise. Craponi/ Morris will live and die by the 3-3-5 this year
