****OFFICIAL ACU vs UNT In-Game Thread***

I see they have been rotating OL. Some guys who haven’t played are plying now. Why? This is not a time to screw around. That’s why our offense has sputtered the last few series. They HAVE to be smarter than this. We’re not good enough to take anything for granted

I don't know that there is a single person on this board that disagrees. Or is willing to admit it.

The challenge will be to see if Morris is the leader that we need him to be and is willing to live up to his mistakes. Everyone can be forgiven for making a mistake, but it's hard to forgive someone if they can't admit their mistake.

Honestly, it was a very disappointing first half. We are much better, at least athlete-wise than ACU. We played well enough to be ahead of a bad team but still nowhere near as well as we should have, I guess, this level of competition. The radio guys commented that we were mixing in backups on defense already. Sorry, but we're not good enough to where our starters do not need as much time as they can get.

Craponi will be the downfall of Morris if he doesn’t get this defense to improve. It’s sad when all of us are holding our breath  even against an FCS team. I really need to see adjustments in the second half.
Morris needs to put that starting line back in and keep them until near the end of the game.

I would say he did that with his QB.

Caponi's defense is still trash. Allowing an FCS team to score 10 straight points to close out the Half in our home is unacceptable. More should have been done in the off week. Navy is going to shred this Caponi defense next Saturday. We need a better scheme.

I agree it's very concerning that after an off week, our defense still looks like it does tonight.

I will give him credit for that, but I expect him to make good offensive moves. What I am very concerned about is his ability to make the right moves when it comes to defense. It's not exactly a specialty in the Leach tree of coaching. Another great example was the end of the USC and Colorado game today.
