Soccer blows out Rice

Rice is obviously not good, but NT played a lot of subs in the game.

Really strong game by our ladies. We did play a lot of subs, but they may have played better than some of our starters tonight. Great depth, great win.

I only saw the 2nd half yet it was clear our team had more .. desire, talent, etc.  Not taking away from Rice, but our girls seemed more determined.  Won 1:1 match-ups, better vision downfield, stronger overall.    Now, Tech looked more dominant against us earlier in the year, so perhaps focus and env. played a part.  I missed the Memphis game.  Hoping to see more wins coming and building on this win over a recent C-USA rival.

We are better than that bench set-up across the field.  Seriously.  Get them covered area with race car seats !!

And bring on the Celtic Uniforms !!

My one change I would make to the new soccer venue is to move the bench area to the stadium side, covered it and add some nice seats.  I would then move the main camera to the west side of the field.  Better crowd shots and you don't get the glare from the sun early in the games.

Good call @UNTLifer .. either way, they deserve better.  They are too good not to get the upgrade.

Been consistent for years and this team looks to continue that tradition.

I will be the first to admit that I do not know anything about soccer because I have never really cared for the sport. That being said, I would think that 6-0 against any team is a significant margin. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Beating Rice this badly despite their record, does this mean our ladies are pretty good and not just CUSA good?
