Agree. Controlling the game with offensive drives and keeping our defense off the field is key.

Great DC, no doubt.  But he didn't recruit at all.  And poor recruiting was the main catalyst of UNT's slide around the time Skladany left.

This looks like a different team than what we’ve seen so far.

Morris seems to have figured out our OL is full of mean maulers that like to run block.  Glad the run game has been working.   I really believe it’s helping the defense a lot.

LATech still got that quick strike to end the half, which is concerning.  But, hey, at least we were able to answer!

So I missed first half but stats show LT with 163 total yards,6 first downs, and t.o.p 8:22 , only 2 completions but both for t.d.'s. Whats up?

I agree, but Latech's run D has been similarly awful to ours so far this year so we might need a bit more of a sample size.

UNT has run 54 offensive plays vs 23 for LaTech. Let's start to see some benefits from tiring that defense out.
