Ehhh may be unpopular but I don’t mind the call there. I like the aggressiveness. If he takes it for 6 (and it looked like there was a lot of room to run) we’re saying “what a call”

but

Obviously it didn’t work out.

That was a terrible call!  GTFOOH

Y'all soft.. wanna say fire Morris..but cheer when he is doing well.. SOFT..

Jared, his record is still 0-2 at the moment, right?  And he is the guy responsible for architecting the shit show through those first two games, right?  And the guy that called that dumbass reverse play that led to a fumble and a Latech TD when the run game has been dominating, right?

Morris could be fired and it would likely be a net positive based on the first two games.

How about we see if the team can overcome the mistakes of this coaching staff before we get too far ahead of ourselves.

No, there are just some things you don’t do. It is not as if we weren’t moving the football or we needed a big play to gain some momentum. That was just pure arrogance on the part of our playcalling.

Hey when you have a defense like this you can afford to take chances

I see the reasoning of starting Stone now, Rodgers is good across the middle of the field, short and medium boundary throws. He's consistently missing the deep ball though. He is definitely a clear improvement over Stone. The defense still sucks but Caponi is adjusting.

I am not in the “fire Morris before the end of the of the season” camp.  But the qualifiers you had in this comment are ridiculous.  There is an arrogance “re-inventing the wheel” mentality in this coaching staff.  How many instances of it do you need to see to be a little pissed off?  This university is not paying all these upper level assistants healthy 6 figures to “learn on the job”.  They could have done this last year but their actions told us Seth deserved an additional year. 🤷🏽‍♂️I think they hold on to this win.  But to get to at least 5 wins this season they can’t be making some of these bone headed decisions.

I think it would have worked without the fumble. But I don't like the aggressiveness there because UNT was finding open field on almost every play. Move the ball and eat the clock.
