I wish our ladies could get the chance to play in a ~2,000-sest gym in Denton.

More players/coaches/cheer staff than fans.

UNT has a 24-23 set point after trailing 7-1 but can't finish the job. UTA takes first set, 26-24.

UNT blows another set, 28-26 after leading 24-22 and 26-25.

Despite the close sets, UTA is obviously better. We're better than last season, but still don't seem to have as much defensive range as opponents. Also losing all of the long volleys tonight.

UTA wins the third set slightly more comfortably, 25-20. Not pretty getting swept by a Metroplex foe.

The ladies currently stand at 4-7 with two easier games left in Arlington against Texas A&M Commerce and Coach Porter's former team, McNeese State. Just realized today those games will be at the Arlington ISD Athletic Center, which is still a better venue than our volleyball gym:
